This is what i've got so far
Ok so the first thing you need to do...GET A SKATEBOARD! AHA! So if your an unathletic piece of shit like me, you don't have one so what I did was just ask like everyone I knew and I ended up with one by the end of the week, its a pretty common object for people to have laying around and like....who wants to buy shit amiright?
NOW REMOVE THE WHEELS TAKE EM OFF YES YES YES YES STORE THEM SAFELY YES YES YES
Next thing you have to do is clean it off as well as you can, let it dry, and then sand the ever loving shit out of it, now I highly recommend using a power tool sander because skateboards are painted to last through elements and grinding and all that shit....and even with the power sander I was still at it for a solid hour.....when sanding just try and not to stay in one place too long like...spread out your sanding and make it as even as you possibly can
BUT REMEMBER!!

OOooooOOOOk so once you've got it all sanded all nice and smooth on the bottom (I even sanded the top part on the uh...tractiony crap, I didn't sand it completely off but since the skateboard I was given had this weird plastic coating on it I decided it would look better if I got rid of that so the paint wouldn't peel) YOU NOW Want to cover the part on the bottom where the wheels attach with BLUE TAPE now there's like all kinds of fancy painting tape or whatever but this shit always worked just fine for me....and its...cheap enough....yanno
I say cover up as much of it as you possibly can just for saftey safe doodley doo dunk yes
OK NOW YOU WANNA GET TO PAINTING ok so like IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII used primer....now a days allot of spray paints COME with the primer IN THEM BECAUSE MIRACULOUS FUTURE SHIT but....I just wanted to be safe.....anyways
I CANNOT stress this enough LET DAT JUNK DRY YO LIKE ALL FULL ON ALL DAY ALL NIGHT YES YES YES THE DRYER THE BETTER (I am impatient as all hell so it was real hard for me) BUT your probably not so good for you, anyways when your using spray paint make sure you take a few steps back, not only because shits dank and bad for yo noodle, but also because if you stand to close it'll get all runny and you don't want that, I anticipated this problem and kept a roll of paper towels around me, but for best fixy this problemy results I would suggest a soft wash cloth that you will definitely ruin forever if you use it to smooth out the runnies that cautious people wont have in the first place

(also I HATE how the yellow color turned out for this so I was gonna wait untill I got my vinyl fabric for my costume, copy the color with acrylics and paint over the yellow stripe on the top by hand and then top coat it a million times, but that's just cuz I DUN GOOFED...but your cooler so you wont be dumb like lil ole me <3)
SO IT GOES....LIGHT COAT OF PRIMER OR THE YELLOW THAT YOU CHOSE or....if this isnt for Mituna and...you just...found this.....then...whatever color

OK SO NOW HERE COMES THE SUPER FUCKING ANNOYING PART THAT TOOK ME FOREVER
WHAT YOU HAVE TO TRY AND DO IS MAKE A STRAIGHT LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE OF THE BOARD ONTOP OF THE YELLOW WITH YOUR TAPE TO COVER IT UP SO THAT WHEN YOU ADD THE BLACK THE YELLOW WILL REMAIN UNDER IT (I figure doing it this way was allot easier than trying to cover the yellow with the black....honestly you can do it in whatever order you want but this is just how I chose to do it)
OK SO LIKE my skateboard as you can see is like....weird shaped so this was A HUGE BITCH FOR ME hopefully you got a traditional one so this wont be quite as hard to see but MAKE SURE that the tape is FLUSH or pressed COMPLETELY against the board so no nasty paint seeps through and gets on your yellow, it happend to me because I am the QUEEN OF STUPID MISTAKES but it's cool because you guys get to learn from mine
OK AND THEN YOU ADD THE BLACK TO THE TOP repeating the three...or even more coats if you want and drying stuff
YEAH SO NOW LIKE SOME FUN STUFF I wanted mine to be customized to hell as well as canon so im going to keep the top all nice and plain but the wheels and the bottom you can do whatever you want to....so what I am in the process of doing is I made a little heir of doom stencil HOWEVER I TOTALLY RIPPED IT but I have other examples
these are super easy to make these SPECIFIC ones I used watercolor paper to make them out of because its just so much easier if you have thick and hard paper but not something AS THICK and hard to cut as cardboard anyways....once you have it all drawn out cut out the places you want the paint to be in blah blah blah and then tape it to your board and I hand painted it but if you wanna spray paint it be my guest, I just think its easier to hand paint stuff that's smaller
(gonna make the insides of the wheels red and blue too or should I say.....TWO EHEHEHEH)
when im all done with the painting on the back im going to use
some protective coating
A BUNCHA BUNCHA TIMES YES!!!! And then you take off the blue tape over the wheel stuff reattach them and your GOOD TO GO!!!!!
